At least MLB (baseball) has it right

Read an article from the New York Times regarding the new 5-year contract
between the owners & players. Interesting to note the elegance of their
solution to the drug problem.

It's ignored entirely.

Amazing. Terms & conditions for the next 5 years of baseball have been
decided upon, and nobody had the guts to do anything about the issue of
performance-enhancing drugs. Missed the opportunity to put in
forward-looking stuff that wouldn't even go into effect for several years,
giving athletes a chance to either clean themselves up or move on, but with
substantial warning in any case.

Can you imagine Dick Pound trying to go after MLB? They'd swat him like the fly
he is.
