Default dimwit cyclist wouldn't take the hint

A CYCLIST has been arrested after he was seen cycling on the hard shoulder
of the M1.

The man, who was on the hard shoulder of the motorway between junction 28
and 29, was spotted at 11.10am.

Police made their way to the scene to escort him from the carriageway but
the man did not comply with the officers and was arrested at 11.30am.

What an idiot.

An arrogant idiot. Probably trying to assert his "right" to be on the
motorway.

I should have thought that you of all people would have had some
sympathy with a potential sufferer from mental illness.

If he's riding a bike, it's way past the "potential" stage.

Arresting him was the right thing to do.

It might or might not lead to a charge. As you suggest, sectioning might
well be the proper response.
