Will Shimano QR Rear Axle fit Joy Tech Hub?
Hi there.
A friend wants to change the nutted axles in his front and rearf Joy Tech hubs to quick release axles. I have a couple of complete Shimano axles (with cones) that are quick-release. Will these fit the Joy Tech hubs? If not, can I use the Joy Tech cones on Shimano QR axles? Thanks from Peter |

If it is, I'd go for exchanging as much as possible if he's insistent on QR. Other than for racing, the need for QR is negative , as far as I can see. |
