Default Dawes Super Galaxy - Wanted for hire (Just in case such a service exists)

On the off chance - is anybody aware of a bike shop which hires,
specifically, Dawes Super Galaxies?
My partner would like to try one for, at least, a full day - before
committing a small fortune...

Where are you and what size are you looking for? I imagine some kind soul
in here would help you out (and, frankly, I doubt many places hire them
out).

I'd lend you mine but it's 12 years old, so not very representative of
current production.

Interesting question. We hired a bike for Michael for a day before
buying him that model, but it was a standard 24" wheel MTB (Dawes
Kokomo - yes, I like Dawes too).

Must it be Dawes, though? What about Thorn? They do a money back
guarantee, and you can borrow a bike for a ride round if you can get
to Bridgewater.

Huw - that would be extremely kind. However, one of the things she'd like to
try is the new compact version of the super galaxy - she's 5'6" so roughly
21" in old-school frame speak.

Cheers,
Graham

Thorn would be just fine - tho more expensive. Are you thinking about SJS?

Thanks for the pointer.

Are you sure ? I have a Dawes Ultra Galaxy 19in and think a 5 6 person would
definitely have a problem with it being too large

Hmm - I'd better check...

52cm is closer to 21" - well 20.5" - tho is yours a newish ultra with
compact geometry - that would explain things?
