The poor chap is 6 foot under and the manner of his passing sound horrible. He is not dead. Have you problems with comprehension? QUOTE: The 44-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains today in a critical condition. "Critical condition" means he's not expected to live. Other press reports say the poor chap is "fighting for his life". His injuries must be horrific and I assumed it was over for him. He was only 44. Very sad. |

You had head knocks abd nrain concussion which left you with a depressive mood disorder and compromised your mental ability. As if that wasn't wnough you couldn't cope with the pain so you had to take drugs and didn't fully realise what happened. Subsequently you drifted into a child-like beliefs about the supernatural and how your star sign pre-ordained this. You still cycle without a helment and recently broke your collar bone. Such recklessness makes you waste of public health resources. |

He's not talking much about rights of way and speed limits. You should remember that, unless maybe you still think you can come back from the dead. The driver who hit the cyclist has since been arrested. QUOTE: A man has been arrested after a cyclist was left for dead following a hit-and-run in Walsall. The 44-year-old was knocked off his bike in Bridge Street, Clayhanger, at around 6.45pm on Saturday (March 7), by a 4x4, which failed to stop at the scene. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Officers investigating the collision arrested a 20-year-old man from his home in Bloxwich yesterday (Monday, March 9). He has since been released while enquiries continue. A Land Rover defender has also been recovered for forensic examination. A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the cyclist "remains seriously ill in hospital" today (Tuesday, March 10) as officers continue to appeal for information following the collision, which happened near to the High Street. ENDS So he is not "6 foot under" at all. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/bla...tical-17889296 |

I hope he pulls through but "critical" suggests he's more likely to die than live. Six foot under may be only a matter of time. |
