Default Campy finger shifter moves freely and won't shift to large chainring

I was Just Riding Along when I shifted into the large chainring (Campy
2000 Record 10 speed). I felt something odd in the shifter, like a
heavier than normal click. I then noticed that the finger shifter
would move freely through its range without engaging anything. Some
time later, I downshifted, and that worked fine; however, now I can no
longer shift to the large chainring.

It's been a long time since I have rebuilt a lever, so before I go
tearing it apart, any thoughts on what I should look for?

Does the shift blade center?

If it does, you may have broken the little tab that rotates the front
toothes bushing.

If it doesn't, you broke or lost the spring in the front.

I have both parts, call, email or send the lever to me for an
overhaul.

Shift blade does not center; forgot to mention that.

Thanks for the help. Will be contacting you soon.

Had the same problem. It turned-out to be the tab as well.
