Doping discovered at Aqua & Sapone

Today (Friday) the local authorities discovered banned products in the
hotel rooms of two riders of the Italian team A&S. What products
exactly, they did not say. They found "hormonal products that stimulate
oxygen uptake in the blood." A local policeman saw someone from the team
hide a small bag in a trash can. In it he found seringes and medicine
packings. The authorities will prosecute. A&S rides the E3 Prijs and the
Brabantse Pijl.

Vrijdag heeft het parket van Dender-
monde verboden producten gevonden in de
hotelkamers van twee renners van de
Italiaanse Acqua & Sapone-ploeg. Dat
maakte Sporza Radio bekend.

Om welke renners het gaat is niet
bekend. Maar het parket vond in ieder
geval "hormonale producten die de zuur-
stofopname in het bloed bevorderen".

Een lokale agent zag dat iemand van de
ploeg een zakje verborg in een vuilnis-
bak. Daarin vond hij spuiten en verpak-
kingen van geneesmiddelen. Het parket
ging over tot actie. Acqua & Sapone
rijdt de E3-Prijs en de Brabantse Pijl.

I'll bet you anything that the name Raimondas Rumsas comes up in
relation to this story.
