Anything interesting happen on RBT today while I cycled for four
hours, took steam for another two, and watched a movie for another
two?

That sounds gay to me. After a ride, I drink a few beers, and then take
a nap. That's what a real man would do.

meh, I drank some water, cleaned up, and went for a nice long drive
through the country to pick up my "new" eBay-purchased roof rack
(ObBikeContent: included two bike carriers, which is why I bought it.)
Great day to do so as it was (just barely) cool enough to leave the A/C
off and the windows down. Only regret is the Stude is still not quite
finished so I drove the boring company car. Now I'm going to go acquire
some beer and drink it. Does that count?

If you're worried that you are gay, you're probably right to be
concerned. All these shaveleg roadies with their arses in the air must
be very suggestive to you. Perhaps you should buy a bike with very
high crossbar to demonstrate what a "real man" you are.

Explain the steam bath. If you took a steam bath for two hours by
yourself, then you would be anti-social. If you had company, then it
would be gay. And where are you pedaling anyway? I know the northern
US and Canada are caught in a perpetual winter, but even there I don't
think you would be in the mood for a steam bath.

I must not be in the "northern" US then, because most days (that it's
not raining) I can combine the cycling and steam bath into one activity.

I used to schvitz at the Russian Baths on Division once a week. Two
hours is ridiculous, you need time to hang out, smoke a cigar, and
have a taco and herring plate.

Bob Bourke is probably the least known of the great American stylists,
and in my opinion should be counted up there with Gordon Buehrig well
above Billy Mitchell and Virgil Exner.

If I ever build an American hotrod, I'll start with his already clean,
inspired design.
