Default 10-speed KMC chain differences?

So what's the deal with the 3 different types of KMC chain? There were 3
different 10-speed chains in J&B. There was a brand-neutral one, a Campy
one, and a Shimano one. What does the brand-neutral one do?

Dear Phil,

Perhaps it works with both kinds of sprockets?

Cheers,

"Brand neutral" means it just doesn't have an opinion.
