Default Adjusting handlebars

Hi guys, could someone inform me how you adjust the height of the
hadlebars? I have a road bike, do I do something with the stem?

Depends on what type of stem you have. www.parktool.com has detailed
instructions for the different types.

If it is the threadless headset design, your adjustment range will be
very limited.
