Really? When's the last time you heard from all the other Qu ax owners?

It's nice to know you have this information though. Do you keep tabs on
all the owners of any other brands/products?

If you mean welding CrMo and aluminium together, I think thats not
possible.
Not sure about it.

I was meaning putting molten steel and molten aluminium in an alloy -
may not be possible if welding issn't

you speak with so much authority, yet with twenty minutes of this post
you admit your ignorance. what's going on? do you type too fast for
your brain?
I don't believe that you've seen either, let alone bent one.

Lets think about some other meterials. Say use plastic inplace of
aluminum, and glass inplace of steel. Now we get both at their melting
points. Plastic being a few hundred ° and glass at 1800° or so. What do
you think would happen if we mixed the 2 together? I can assure you it
wont be plexiglass.

Same sorta concept with steel and alu. Just because they are both
metals that surely does not mean you can just mix them together. If you
could just simply mix steel and alu to get a something lighter then
steel but stronger than aluminum, bike companies would have been doing
it long long ago.

I like the Pit Fighter... But this Seat Post have two problems in my
opinion:
-It is a little bit expensive...
-And it's a little bit short...

I like to ride SIF Trials and i try to do some flat tricks...So i like
a high seat Post... I'm not to tall... But in my devil the pit fighter
still a little bit short... It's just my opinion... I don't know
anything about the Qu-ax...

You know what is the diference between the Old and the new model?

rumour is that the pit fighter gismo reinforced thing is not nearly as
effective as pictures show you it would do, i rode the normal steel qu
ax seatpost for like 2 years and only just broke it 3 weeks ago, since
when i have got the qu ax upgraded one, with the triangle and it is
working very well, and for the price comparison a lone i think the
answer is Qu-ax!

Lukas is right.

For the price of the PitFighter you can get 3 Quax seatposts.

And the Quax with the triangle is very strong. I ride it too and it
does not show any weakness.

How exactly do the pictures show off the gismo? The inside of the seat
tube is nifty looking and all, but the real advantage is in the
machined top bracket. I havnt really seen that shown off in any
pictures.
