Default Driver in the dock for causing death by dangerous driving

QUOTE:
"A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after the death of a cyclist following a collision on the A31 near Farnham.

The crash, between a white Ford Transit van and a bicycle, happened at around 7.30pm on August 12 last year, near the junction with Station Road in Bentley.

Basingstoke cyclist Lee Martin, 48, was taken to hospital but later died.

Christopher Gard, 30, of Linnet Way, Alton, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on March 3."

Here, let me fix that for you..

A man has been unjustly accused of killing a cyclist after the cyclist

Clearly, you meant (but were too confused to actually realise it) to say:

That sort of comment really is thoughtless and uncalled-for.

Have you absolutely no sensitivity to the plight of others?

Surely he is not in 'the dock' until the court case.

True.

It's just about possible to accept it as a "manner of speaking", since
it doesn't actually convey a falsehood.

However, as I'm sure the most learned lawyers we have here these days
will confirm, "Driver in the dock for causing death by dangerous
driving" is a blatant lie.

Ah yes, the old "they've been punished enough" wriggle.
The old ones are the worst.

Another child killer spared jail.
Unbelievable - no remorse and lying in court. Pure scum.
