Bike Hire Melbourne

I'll be in Melbourne (my favourite city on earth) Monday and Tuesda
(22-23 Aug 05) on business.

Does anyone know a bike shop (CBD) that will rent me a road bike (56
for a couple of days.

Try Borsari Cycles in Carlton. Not quite CBD but only a 15 minute walk
away. I've hired MTBs from them in the past, but not sure about roadies.

Worth a try though.

There's a place on King's Way, near Albert Park in South Melbourne that I've
noticed too, but I've never been in there and can't say whether they're
good, bad or indifferent. I can't remember what they're called
though...anyone else here know the one I mean?

There's a place on the Yarra just near St Kilda Rd on the rowing sheds
side (works out of a shipping container). Never had much of a look as I
go past on the commute but I did notice a tandem there one day, and they
also had a trailer bike which would be a good practice run for anyoen
thinking of buying one.

I've emailed BikeNow. The hire quite a lot of bike stuff let's see wha
their service is like... I'll post when I come back.

Keep 'em coming in case this one does not pan out.
