Default crazed neutral support mechanic on roof of moving car!

I'd never seen that befo a neutral support mechanic climbing among
the bikes on the roof of a moving car, trying to adjust the seat height
for a break-away rider's backup bike in PR today. They were not
going slowly, either.Crazy monkey!

I agree. Major props to the guy for going "above and beyond." Mavic should
give him a raise.

I held my breath when the went around a sharp right hander, I thought
he was going to get flung off.

That was deeply mental. Anyone seen any photos of those acrobatics?
Great race, but the world's craziest riding mechanic is what I remember.

Hay Bale,

Easy with the monkey talk. That wrench is a jackass. He risked his life
for no good reason. It was simply a toolbelt geek thinking he could play
hero on worldwide tv and get his 15 minutes. Had he fallen and incurred a
Terry Schiavo face, and his family sued the race promoters/team, then
nobody would be giving the bitch a posthumous purple heart.

And furthermore, had he done his ****ing job, the seat height would have
been adjusted before he put the ****ing bike on top of the car.

That is all.

If you had watched the video, he was trying to fix the broken saddle
on the rider's original bike because he was then riding a neutral
support bike from Mavic. The mechanic in question was a neutral
support mechanic trying to get the rider's original bike back to him.
It was not his job in the first place to adjust the saddle. So please,
get the banana out of your face and pay attention..
