Default Front Derailleur distances for indexing

Hello,

For indexing a given amount of cable pull causes
a given amount of front derailleur movement.

What are the standard units of measure to quantify
these in a front derailleur spec.

The one I am aware of a
-Shimano Road 6/7/8
-Shimano Road 9
-Shimano Road 10
-Shimano Mt
-Campy Road
-Old Dura-Ace

In looking at a derailleur what test measurement
would tell me that 'A ha, this is a Shimano Mt'
or some such.

What are the cable pull caused derailluer movement specs?

Thanks,

--Chris
