Scratch the Underweight category. I doubt there is even 1 tenth of 1

percent
of Masters Fatties that are below 18.5 BMI.

What's your BMI?

Much higher than yours.

24-24.5

I'd like it to be lower. Hats off to you for maintaining your very low BMI.

All Category events will now only be open to riders aged 24-29.

I'd hate to be an espoir or junior, as this will substantially cut
down on the races available to them, unless there's a huge upswell in
the offering of these classes. I would thing the racer demographics in
most areas of the country would make these classes prohibitive, as
surely every race is now going to have to have multiple masters
classes to accomodate all the "old" guys.

What if you're in part of the country where master's races are 35+? I
guess you don't get to race.

Latest word is that Masters categories will be based on BMI :

Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5 - 24.9 Normal
25.0 - 29.9 Overweight
30.0 and Above Obese

There is yet another relevant category: DOWNHILL SPRINTER

A BMI below 20 is normal?
LOL! LMFAO! ROTFLMAO.

25.0 - 29.9 Overweight

23.5 - 26.0 is NORMAL dude.

Above 25 and research subjects show increased susceptibility to obesity
related illness.

For Asians, it's even less, 23.5 (because of the tendency to accumulate fat
in the midsection. fat in the midsection increases the risk of heart
disease).

Because it isn't true? Well I guess it's either this post, or

adelphia.net&output=gplain

("I weight", tsk tsk Chang).

??

I'm not sure what you're questioning.

You weigh(t) the same now, with same bodyfat-%, as 20 years ago and
then you say your bmi is almost 25. So you've been a masters fattie
all your life?! Even when you were training and racing a lot, you were
always almost-overweight...?

I'm not questioning either post, but if both are true it puts your
delusional fattie crusade in a different perspective. Somehow (from
the speedo pic?) I thought you were a lanky lad.

5'11", 172 lbs.

http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm

yields 24.0

That's about what I weighed at 20.

The lowest I got when I was racing was 158. BMI of 22. I think I would have
been better if I got even lower, but just never did it (lack of desire
again).

BTW, when I was 20, I wasn't racing my bike, I ran track. Knowing what I
know now, I should have weighed less for that too.

From now on, Henry's RBR alias must be "Cartman."

are like 'Holy **** that kid is one fat ****!'"
