Or more.

I have two bents. One Lightning Thunderbolt
and an EZ-1 Sun Bike by Easyracers but just
found a basket big enough to carry a full brown
bag full of groceries. Since I shop about 3 times
a week anyway, I never really buy more than a bag
full at a time, AND the basket will even hold a 10lb
bag of dog food.

And the best thing about it is that the basket only
cost 10 bucks and it is a though it was MADE for
the lower cross beam on the EZ-1 Seat frame.

I know this may not seem like a big deal to some,
but hey, I now have no reason NOT to be CAR FREE
within a 15 mile radius. (I have done 84 mile trips on
the EZ-1 but prefer shorter trips what with the Maxim
Hookworm tires (with lots of rolling resistance) and the heavy frame.

To say that I am a happy camper is to say the least. CaR FrEE!

Whoopee!

I would consider replacing the Maxxis Hookworm [1] tires with Schwalbe
Big Apple's [2] when the Hookworms wear out. I would expect the Big
Apple to have lower rolling resistance than the Hookworm, since
hysteresis losses will be high for the Hookworm due to its very stiff
sidewalls. The Big Apple should also provide a better ride, since it
does not need to be so highly inflated to reduce rolling resistance. I
would not expect the Big Apple to be as abuse tolerant as the Hookworm,
which is designed for extreme BMX freestyle riding.

Note the brand is Maxxis, not Maxim.
