Likewise, I cannot understand how motorists stray into cycle and bus lanes during restricted periods, or why they don't seem to understand what advance stop lines are. I wonder what happens more frequently, cyclists on roads from which they are prohibited, or motorists on lanes from which they are prohibited - and if frequency rates of infringement are related to dimness. |

Motorists 'stray' into the cycle & bus lanes and ASLs, not because they are dim, but because such things should be treated with utter contempt. Ironically, motorists pay for these minority interest annoyances, which cause delays to motorists. -- Dave - Cyclists VORC Bicycles are for Children. "Dave- Cyclists VORC" wrote in message ... And in March, another cyclist was fined after again following an app onto the M3 westbound, between Sunbury and the M25 junction". Unbelievable. How can they be that dim? They know full well that they're not allowed on motorways, but do it anyway. Laws mean nothing to cyclists whose only motivation is to get from point A to point B in the shortest time possible. For that purpose, satnavs are ideal for these pitiful idiots. No doubt the pathetic excuse that "the satnav told me to" is some kind of ridiculous attempt to mitigate the offence(s) to reduce their fine, because as we already know, most cyclists are skint and have very little earnings potential due to their ludicrous clothing, disgusting aroma, weird beliefs and volatile tempers. |

Yes - the two types are mandatory and advisory, cyclists are permitted to use either; motorists can use advisory ones only. |
