that's interesting.

tune in to the guides at posts # 109. Buy the meaningful guides,
always useful, from barnes and noble or amazon if not ILL available.

The federal government offers online maps and stats for population
density, income average, crime stats crunchable to the cycle
guidebooks.

search to 'apartment rent' or rental: use a national service for
locating adjacent housing.

See California, National Parks and wildlife area maps.
I did that on a relatively local move narrowing a wide array of
choices to 3-4 in a few minutes after touring the perimeter. Cal's
choice areas are definitely wider.

As always, colder climates with dangerous employments or warmer
climates with fewer employment opportunities produce more reliant
people.

The mexicans got there first by infecting indians with smallpox.

You have the impression people ride bikes in the US? That's an
illusion from the cycle industry.

There are areas of Cal with high populations of foreign folk,
hollywood types, artists, wierdo groups, upward Mex, downward mex,
aircraft uh ex aircraft, computer, groups who are strapped, groups who
are not: the places may look alike but may not be so.

A tentative move into a location centered in a larger desirable area
may be more productive long run than an isolated choice.

Hard to tell. I moved to Cape Canaveral to do national security and
science research near NASA, populated with NASA, ex-military,
relatively high income levels. The place is 100% controlled by half
wit thugs working for NYC crime families having no interest whatsoever
in security or science.

remeber to check the employment-unemployment stats, current employment
trends, number folk on welfare...all in the federal stats, maybe state
stats which tend to be difficult to find.
also, NOAA Weather and GI 'air quality' offer air polllution
observations, histories.

think wine with salt air: it's feudal.

Yeehaw Junction?

"as always...": REFERENCED TO A DESERT not the tropical plugged up
toliet tourist fueled parasite paradise.
A Florida Yeehaw Junction line stems from Tampa's worldview as
southern moist redneck riviera during the halcyon defense budget days.
What now, I dunno? The beach was brimming with Cuban gangsters not jet
jockeys.

There wasn't any reference to a desert in your post, but in any case the
Desert apparently has a significant tie-in to Yeehaw Junction:

Apparently all the women went west to the Mons.

P.S. They should have kept the name "Jackass Junction"
