Default World's pick

Dumbasses -

The obvious pick is Vinokourov. Got the best post-Vuelta form and the
guy is fully capable of winning such a big one day race. Only weakness
in him is the depth of his team.

Rider I'd like to see win: Horner (duh)

thanks,

K. Gringioni.

1) Schleck
2) Bettini
3) Schumacher

Watch out for the winner of last year Tour L'Avenir, Lars Bak. He
just rode his first Grand Tour where he did very well, especially in
the last week.
He can't win it yet, but he will be theere in the final lap. I think
that the small danish team will ride the final in support for Frank
Schelck, after Jacob Piils injury.

The depth of Horny's team is questionable, too. He (and every other
breakaway opportunist) will have to count on the Spaniards and Italians
failing to crank and break the sprinters like Hushovd and Zabel, as
they're apparently planning. Or else they have to conserve their
energy, then fly off only after everyone else is pooped from said cranking.
