That's next. He bailed, just like Cipo. Next year he's not starting.
Anyone remember the T-Shirt with Cipo stopping dead at the base of
the mountains?

Dumbass -

Cavendish got dropped on a shallow Cat 4 climb the day before.

Him pulling out is the correct action. He's cooked.

thanks,

K. Gringioni.

I agree, but when has common sense been a factor for the folks running
cycling? Cipo was great fro the bottom line and TV buys, but they
banned his ass anyway.

They banned him because he made a show out of dropping out, telling
the press even before the prologue when he was going to climb off.

That's showing a lack of respect for the race.

BTW, Cavendish made it over the Pyrenees and even won two transitional
stages. Not even comparable.

thanks,

K. Gringioni.

They banned him from the Tour because he had the bad sense of riding
for teams that required wildcard entry. Oops, I forgot, now they're
all wildcard entries.

Prudhomme said so much on the radio this morning. He also said they
were going to figure out a way for a quadruple stage winner to be in
green. He probably wouldn't have stopped had he been in green.

Exactly - there's no comparison. I doubt Cavendish will end up at a beach tomorrow.
