Why in hell would Schleck put himself through the misery that he
witnessed Contador go through this year?

Bjarne Riis is a ****ing liar. He also lied to make it seem Frank Schleck's
$10,000 payment to a Spanish gynecologist who just so happens to be the
mastermind of Operacion Puerto was for "training purposes."

He and Riis can go **** themselves with that story.

I'd be pretty surprised if he does that transfer. He has a good team that's a
proven commodity now. Plus LA seems to not want Frank along - I doubt Andy would go
for that.

If winning the tour made Contador miserable, he's got bigger problems
than LA. Nothing bad happened, he won. He should smile graciously, ride
in a few post-tour crits, and collect his paycheck.

But you're right, he needs to get out of Spain while he's riding the
crest and create more positive exposure.

dumbass,

i can't see bruyneel going in 2010 without a rider who can win the
tour.

after armstrong retired bruyneel signed the next best active GT rider
(basso) even though he had a supposed leader in leipheimer.

it's a natural move that he would want to sign the best active GT
rider (andy schleck) that isn't contador.

that seems to be his tactic and then worry about any conflicts if they
arise.

That is the opposite side of the coin.

Contador looked grim on the podium in Paris.
One would expect him to be laughing his ass off
at LANCE. "I own you, Sunshine." Seems Lance
owns him. Contador had a great opportunity to
learn how to play hard ball. I hope that over
the winter the lesson sinks in.

Thinks Armstrong will go back to banging starlets and wants Bruyneel
on his side.
