Apparently it doesn't work that way, although I'm not a metallurgist, so I
don't know why. I do know that there's a regulation that states that car
mags have to be made from virgin metal and that there are dodgy knock off
imports that are made of recycled stuff that have a habit of failing fairly
spectacularly. Given how thin the walls on frame tubing are, I'd want the
good stuff.
