EBC sale - Specialized Bike
Edinburgh Bike Coop has the Specialized Pro Hardrock with disk brakes in its
sale, starting tomorrow, at £350, reduced from £500. I have the 2000 Hardrock but I would like disk brakes. Is there a reason why they are putting this in the sale - glut or perhaps just a teaser? And can I sell my existing bike - which, part from lacking disks, is well nigh perfect? -- Geoff Pearson Scotland, UK |

If not, they're slightly heavier, slightly more thief-magnet and you won't notice much difference. -- (Simon Brooke) http://www.jasmine.org.uk/~simon/ ;; not so much a refugee from reality, more a bogus ;; asylum seeker |

And no, I'd like to use it in really muddy conditions but seldom get the chance. |
