That's why we have bike racing in the first place - so we can watch guys suck weight until they're a bag of bones, and ask them to push their bodies to limits that are almost impossible to achieve with out some sort of illicit boost. Then we can kick back on the comfy recliner and eat buffalo chicken wings slathered in bleu cheese, and feel lucky we're not them. In other words we're a bunch of pussies. At the same time, I'm certain that he's being generally truthful that everybody on Postal was doping - the only reason he's saying so now is because it's to his advantage (i.e. reject that complete B.S. lie of his about for "the good of cycling"), and things just MIGHT not have happened exactly as he says. BTW, add in Hamilton here, too. Equally full of B.S., too. |
