Campy ergo clamp direction
I replaced my handlebars and without realizing it reversed the direction of
one of the clamps on my ergo brifters (record 10s, circa 2001). Looking at the ergo manuel on the Campagnolo site, it says to align the clamps so the arrow is pointing up, however, I find the position of the levers/hood is much better when the clamp is reversed. In the drops I have now more than just the fingertips that can reach the levers. Question- Do others do this? Is there any reason not to leave it "backwards"? (I'm not worried about voiding the warranty |
