Default How is Team Classification calculated?

General classification after stage 18, 23-JULY-2004

1 Lance Armstrong (USA) US Postal p/b Berry Floor 78.20.28
3 Andreas Klöden (Ger) T-Mobile Team 5.11
4 Jan Ullrich (Ger) T-Mobile Team 8.08
5 Jose Azevedo (Por) US Postal p/b Berry Floor 10.41
19 Jose Luis Rubiera (Spa) US Postal p/b Berry Floor 29.10
25 Giuseppe Guerini (Ita) T-Mobile Team 38.58

Top Teams:
1 T-Mobile Team 233.03.45
2 US Postal presented by Berry Floor 5.12

I do the math and the top 3 postal guys are 40 minutes back while the
top 3 T-M guys are 52 minutes back, so how in the world is US Postal 5
minutes back of T-M? Should T-M be 12 minutes back of the Blue Train?

Thanks.

-Ken

Default How is Team Classification calculated?

Top three per stage, not top three on GC.

I'm not positive, but they may calculate using top three times from
each stage, this could explain the difference.

"Robert Chung" wrotee...
Top three per stage, not top three on GC.

Yikes!
You and Eddie are right.

Thanks, KJP
(has anyone in RBR ever met Davide Tosi? Does he live in Mussolini's old bunker?)
