Cyclist rammed my wifes Vectra Estate once.

He stopped (didn't have a lot of choice really)

Wife chucked his (bent) bike in the back of the car, and took the (bent)
cyclist off to the local hospital for bandaging, etc.

At which local hospital, victim was a Surgeon-Commander or some such.

Much merriment amongst the nursing staff.

And he sent a cheque to my wife to cover the damage (new tail light lens,
which I fitted).

the owner of the motor vehicle was the victim, with the cyclist - no matter
how "vulnerable" - being the perp.
