QUOTE:

"A man who deliberately mowed down a cyclist who he blamed for ending his marriage, has been jailed for 21 years.

45-year-old Mark Whittaker ploughed into his victim outside Reading Girls School on Northumberland Avenue in October last year.

The cyclist, 38-year-old Darren Fordred, was left with serious multiple injuries."

The driver is an idiot. Had he said 'It was a momentary lapse of concentration' he would get away with it.

No doubt Pounder will tell us the cyclist had it coming for riding on the pavement and if he had gotten there first with his chisel the outcome would have been much worse.
