Yes, Chicken is almost certainly headed for Rock-dom ...

Astana will flail with Vino as leader for 2010, but then be gone
forever.

Birds of a feather, so to speak.

“Certain people, it is unclear who, have completely dreamed this up, but
there has been no occasion on which he has made an official statement on
this issue,” Proskurin said.

The UCI have now confirmed that riders from the five teams concerned may
indeed look for other teams if they so wish. "If Alberto Contador leaves
tomorrow, we can only say that this option would be complying with our
rules," confirmed UCI spokesman Enrico Carpani to Cyclingnews on Friday
evening.

No, just not that funny, and not our style.

Thanks,

Engaging the Kazakh bull**** to English translation engine, I come up
with:
"He didn't say no publicly, so we're saying definitely yes publicly in
the hopes that when he reads it in the papers he'll believe it's true
and stay. That guy is some sort of stupid. Hahahahaha!"

The part about "we have absolutely no problem with Contador" is also
bull****. Unless the young sheep-stalker's brother is a total idiot
(jury still out), as soon as Astana missed the UCI deadline, whether
or not it is applicable and enforceable according to the Astana/
Contador contract, Mutton Mouse will have jacked up his price by a
couple of million to stay. I'd consider that a problem. If the price
didn't get jacked up, that's another sort of problem.
