Default Stronglight headset question

I have an old Stronglight French headset with a sound body but lousy
bearings and races (removable rings), and a nice, relatively new
Stronglight English headset that is not being used. Does anyone know if
the loose bearing parts from the English headset will work in the body
of the French one? Alternatively, where to buy the small parts for the
French headset without purchasing an entire new entire headset?

If they're the same model; no problem. But Stronglight made many different
models, with many different bearing types.

If it's a stronglight A-9 type of headset, xxcycle will sell you a
replacement set of bearing race "shields" and needle bearings.
