Default time impact cleats

hello all!

Anyone had problems with the screws in the time impact cleats??

the screws are so small - cant find anywhere selling replacements (2
fell out on a ride this morning).

Do I have to buy a new set of cleats? I want to anyway just so I have a
spare set. Any on-line retailers selling them? How much are they worth?

I've had more problems *getting* the screws out rather than them
falling out ;-) But they seem to be fairly standard screws to me. Take
one to a hardware store and try and get a match.

I don't know whether Time would sell just the screws - you'd probably
have to shell out $60-70 on a set of new cleats, which is stupid.

cheers,
Jeff

I did have a win on this one - in a round about way.

Went to several hardware shops. none had the screw. the bike shop didnt either. But he told me he could
cut to size a llonger screw. Found a 25mm screw in a hardware shop (which fit the threads perfectly), the
bike shop cut it down.

I've ordered a spare set of cleats anyway - the pair I've got wont last forever, and I dont want to have
to wait for days for a replacement when they do wear out (I live in a rural area). Should last a lot
longer than the Look cleats I used to use though
