Why don't the favorites start attacking Lance NOW?

Hey,

Based on the fact that he took time out of all the rivals already,
and their respective fates are sealed for similiar upcoming
challenges, why don't the favorites start attacking Lance now? It
seems like they are all falling into line like ducks in a row. Why not
just hand the trophy over to Lance now?
If they all attacked together, their collective force would topple
the current regime.

time is made up in spint bonuses, tt, and mtn stages. Pack finishers all
get the same times. why fight to make a statement now (in sprint/flat
stages). breaks rarely stay away on the flats. These early leaders/sprint
specialists win early but fade come the hills.. Best is coming, relax. Its
a long race, and month.
