and they've still got our oil, *******s!

No, they have their own oil, and not much in the way of arable land.
Refined into Gasoline it has a Caloric value of 33,000 calories per
gallon, but it doesn't taste very good. I long for the day when that's
all they have because we have moved on to renewables for our energy
needs. Let them blow themselves up quibbling over who is most pious
when we do convert to renewable energy resources.

We was there first, drawing lines to keep the fuzzie-wuzzies at bay and
trying out chemical warfare on the Kurds.

A banana provides 100 calories, enough to power a cyclist for 3 miles.

But the same banana would only power a car for a block, and so they
must go and steal the oil from the Arabs.

To allow a bunch of primitive savages to control the world's oil supply is a
form of insanity. We (the West) should have invaded those lands and taken
over the oil resources. Just because the Arabs are resident there does not
give them any rights at all. Only might makes right and it would have been
easy to dispose of them. The Arabs belong on reservations the same way the
Indians of the Americas belonged on reservations. Either that ... or the
only good Arab is a dead Arab!

Too bad the world is not ordered according to the principles of Ed Dolan the
Great instead of a lot of wimpy liberal *******s who do not know their asses
from a hole in the ground.

Yeah, it's just a shame those greedy murdering *******s can't be
satisfied with using most of the world's oil for themselves.
Thier need for an oil fix has led to them raping the surface of thier
own country to suck out the very last drops.

Junkies!

But "happy consumers" demand more of the stuff...

The Price of Oil

Nigeria should be a massively rich country. It's the most populous
country in Africa, and is the world's sixth leading oil producer. Over
a quarter trillion dollars in oil has been lifted from Nigerian soils
and waters in the last 40 years. But after years of military rule and
rampant corruption, fueled by these oil monies, the country is mired
in billions of dollars in debt and is wracked with poverty.

(They say a picture is worth a thousand words...)

The Arabs did not know what oil was until we explained it to them.

Africa is truly a failed continent. I think it must have to do with the
nature of the people inhabiting the place. After all, the colonial period
ended long ago.

But we gave them "a hand" in that failure to make sure our oil and
diamonds were cheap enough.

They didn't know what diamonds were before, right?

Are the Africans children that we have to hold their hand? I will die of
shock if and when African leaders ever take any responsibility for their own
foul-ups.
