Their problem is their business models. Would YOU hire a man sight unseen that simply meets a checklist of requirements? That is now the preferred hiring method. You cannot find qualified people in that manner. That was what I was talking about when Tality failed because I couldn't get descent engineering staff and then doing into the HR department on the last day and going through the files I discovered all sorts of qualified people that the HR guy didn't give me because they didn't fulfill one or another of the preferred qualifications. HR Departments are NOT supposed to run a company and that is what they have become - the impromptu board of directors. |
