the agenda 2009
It's that time of year when I start thinking about potential loops. From my home base when I go North I usually make it as far as Elora/Fergus before turning. Here is a typical loop: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2108771 Beyond the E-F line is terra incognita. But I've been talking to I guy who commutes from out that way and during the winter storms he mentioned how much of an elevation drop there is and that meant they got much heavier snowfalls. My ears pricked up at 'elevation' and I've been ruminating about making a grander loop. Two options: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2489895 http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2494905 Nothing like a personal best in terms of kilometerage but given the word 'elevation' I'm wondering how much of a challenge it will be. Any one else setting or thinking about new goals, routes, challenges? |
