A rum place: was there not someone from Hull - a cyclist - who used to post
here regularly?

He has retired, and off on holiday, so maybe some snaps of curry in
Bulgaria soon?

So other cities are not cities of thieves?

Well, as the article appears to be highlighting Hull and no other, it would
appear not.

However, I think there are quite a few places in New Zealand which would
deserve the title if they were a city:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taranaki police are appealing for public help following a spate of burglaries
they believe could be linked.

Almost 60 homes and 90 businesses across the region have been burgled during
the past month.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are some rum buggers over there.

All cities I have been to or have had anything to do with seem to be
cities of thieves.
Disclaimer: I have never been to or had anything to do with Hull,
England.
Now Hull, Québec, that is a different matter.

For once you are not wrong.
And you have proved Tarcap absolutely wrong.

All cities I have been to or have had anything to do with seem to be
cities of thieves.

Now what appears to be the common denominator there, then?

And thank you very much kind sir for your insinuation and compliment.
And now while you are about it could you please give me the higher honour
of being the unholy spawn of a bandy-legged hobo and a syphilitic camel?
