Default Cyclist thrown to the floor after hit-and-run crash

The man in his 30s was thrown from his bike and landed on the road, but thankfully did not suffer any serious injuries.

Essex Police say the car did not stop at the scene of crash, which happened at 6.35am on Saturday June 28.

The car reportedly continued driving in the direction of Rayleigh, and is understood to have lost a wing mirror (SIC) as a result of the crash.

Anyone with information about this incident, the car or driver, or who may relevant dash cam footage or CCTV, should contact Essex Police by calling 101 quoting incident number 258 of June 28.
