Default Odometer which is also a watch

I am sure wireless odometers have a clock, but is there one you could
wear as a watch, and then when you ride your bike you do not have to
place it on the bike. Would the distance be too great to pick up the
signal, or would you use too much juice. I know there are GPS you can
wear, but they are expensive. I checked Nashbar, but do not notice any
which fit the bill.

Thanks

Tom

I don't wear my watch while riding fior similar reasons: the computer
has current and elapsed time on it, these are the only watch functions I
ever use while riding.

The convenience of wearing the computer instead of leaving it to the
mercy of thieves whilst off the bike is nice though.
