Was Lance palying head games?

After reading today's Cyclingnews, I think he might just have been doing a bit
more work, and might just be in better shape than we all thought.

Gotta wonder if Lance isn't going to go for one more totally dominant
performance just to make his case, then go home and play with Sheryl.

If I was just trolling I would've thrown in the rumor that I just made up that
Lance is going to get a $100K bonus for every minute he finishes up on GC. The

If you're bored we could talk about womens cycling. I wonder why Go Finland
didn't race in the Tour de L'Aude after CN reported that Luperini was
favored to make a big effort there?

I don't have to be bored to talk women's cycling. Any excuse is a good one. If
you haven't noticed I'm the Lyne Bessette cheering section. Considering the the
hassles she's had and the strength of the team 5th, currently, is pretty damn
good. Dede is having a great race too. Someday someone will get a really good
picture of her. A couple of years ago at a race she wasn't racing, she was in a
black dress, sitting on a stone wall, just looking so exotic and Euro, reading
a book. I don't think she was trying to create an "image", but it worked.
Gotta wonder if Jeanson will ever reach this level, as long as she stays with
Rona, I'd doubt it, and if she isn't with them I'm not sure how she does
without the handlers.
Not sure about Luperini but 3 T-Mobiles in the top 6 is a pretty damn good.

Who cares. Rebecca Twig is still looking great. If she rides masters
track, I'll pay to see her in Lycra again and start following women's racing
in depth. Did you get out for a ride, or are you just sitting there, bored
and horny, thinking about women's racing? God, I'm bored, too.

Bessette is very consistent, IMO, she is in the top 5 riders in the world,
if I stop to think a little I might have to bump her down to the top ten but
she is like I said, very consistent at giving great results in just about
anything she enters. However last year in the worlds she failed miseably in
both the TT and the road. In her interview she couldn't account for the bad
results except that she did her best. She was coming off a broken
collarbone.

Dede is having a great race too. Someday someone will get a really good
picture of her.

Yeah, Dede is hot, but don't look too close or you might notice her twisted
buckteeth, which she needs to take some of her race earnings and head to the
specialists for either train tracks or some vaneers.

I saw a photo of Bessettes from last years race, not sure which summer
classic, but on the podium she was wearing something that looked like when
girls wrap towels around their waist on the beach. Kind of odd.

Jeanson is a no go this year, and if she fails at the games, she could end
up with a zero year. Actually her bad luck started last year at the worlds
and she hasn't produced any results since.

Yup, USA three out of top 4 in Tour de L'Aude. Luperini won the Tour De
Berne this year a short while back.

BTW, CBC did a great job of the worlds last year, 11 hours of coverage is
pretty good. Only downfall was when the sprint came for the mens road race,
after the spainish guy won, they kept the camera on him, and missed the
sprint for 2nd, 3th, and 4th and so on. What a idiot that cameraman was.
What a blunder. I guess he's looking for another job.
