Default NYC bike stencil looks like a recumbent!

Our family was in NYC last week. We walked the Brooklyn Bridge one
night. There were painted bike-lane stencils. And the image looked like
a recumbent! I took a pic. Here's the link. What do you think? I see a
layed-back rider. And different size wheels. Maybe even a LWB!

I don't know if that's a recumbent. A cruiser maybe. Stylized for sure.

For some pics of bikes on the bridge and other NYC bridges -

A common stencil marking on NYC bridges is for "Critical Mass."

I did see a few recumbents on the 5 Boro ride. There was one that was
really nice. A three wheeler - two up front. It had independent
suspension up front (don't remember rear) with upper and lower control
arms. Also disk brakes and what I called to the rider as monocoque
framing though it looked like a fiber embedded covering for the chain
rings and chains. Not sure if it was actually structural. It reminded me
of an F1 pedal car. Nice looking trike though.

Looks like a crank forward, maybe a Rans?

Give a little person a little power and create a big problem.
