Look KG461 Ergopost 2 compatibility
I'm putting together a NOS KG461. It uses an internal wedge clamp for the
seatpost. Anyone know if the Look Ergopost 2 will work or will the wedge crush the carbon? Bill |

Bill I have a hard time believing LOOK would make something not applicable to their own frameset(both in existence at the same time) BUT A wedge like that is generally a bad idea. |

Heard from Look: The ergopost 2 will work just fine. In addition to greasing the bolt threads, make sure you put a little grease on the surfaces of the wedge so that they will not bind and cause you to over-tighten the bolt. The correct torque for this bolt is 12-15 NM. |
