Here's a grizzly attack on a road (or maybe gravel) bike and rider.

A Brown Bear is not a Grizzly. And it is very unusual for a brown or black bear to attack an human. What might have happened was that it was a mother bear who felt her cubs in danger.

Hmmm
"Taxonomy: While there has been much confusion about the
taxonomy of brown bears (Ursus arctos), taxonomists agree
there are at least two subspecies in North America -- the
grizzly bear (U. a. horribilis) and the Kodiak bear (U. a.
middendorffi)."

Technically true however the quoted article describes it as "a large
brown bear" but whether that was a big "Brown Bear" or a "Big Bear"
that was brown" isn't explained. The species "Brown Bear" is described
as "There is only one brown bear species, but there are many
subspecies. Depending on where they live brown bears are also known as
the Alaskan, Grizzly, European, Syrian, and Kodiak brown bear".

Don't let your children make pets of them.
