as part of my job, i deliver two different brands of canned albacore
tuna to grocery stores, and i'm able to buy the **** from my employer at
their cost (25% below wholesale) and yet i still do not have any in my
house. to each his own, of course

when i would train for more than 6 hours at a time, i would sometimes
use that as reward at the half way point. coffee is my favorite food,
and that actually tastes like coffee to me, even though it's in a can
(unlike tuna in a can tasting nothing like tuna...)

along with tuna, i can buy dagoba chocolate at work for really cheap,
but my family vacuumed it down so fast, it didn't seem worth it. plus
there's fresh organic juice of every color, *tons* of tofu stuff,
hummus, tahini, cookie dough and cookies, dried fruit, salsa, guacamole,
chai tea, mousse, blah blah blah. it's a miracle i'm still somewhat
thin, now that i think about it.

Yikes, Bob, how old is that jar of capers?

For any food item soaked in salt and vinegar, the correct
answer is "It doesn't matter".

I looked for an expiration date. Didn't find one.

Kinda makes me wonder--we eat stuff even the bugs don't like.

Steve (has the capers too)

Think of this Steve - you look in the mirror each morning.

Using Doubeshot as your secret weapon in the STP? That **** sets you on
track, doesn't it? Dynamite in a can, for sure!

That's just freaky - my favorite candies are all those crazy japanese
things! I love all the cute cartoon characters, and I never know what
I'm getting until I bite into it - what fun! And my favorite pastry in
the world are those awesome fruit tarts. I have a german friend who
makes these for birthdays and they're so yummy! It's strange that you
would pick those two pages to post links to...

Japanese pop culture is weirder than anything the
aspiring weirdos in rbr can come up with, really.

This ng is way more fun when the threads are about food and not about
bike racing... why is that?

Well, some of us are just better at eating than at bike racing.

Man, I thought the LANCE chamois lube thread was weird. But thanks to
this thread, I now know where I can get a 'Hello Kitty' vibrator.

That's "personal massager", Bob. There are two sizes of it, btw.
Allegedly.

This pegs my weirdness meter. The Tour can't start soon enough.

The Hello Kitty toilet paper makes me laugh. If they made Barney TP, I
bet they'd sell cases of it - and not to people who're getting it for the
kids. "Take ***that***, Barney! Bwaahahahaha!!!!"

It's worth noting that they sell neither of the aforementioned Hello
Kitty items at the Sanrio store at the mall up the road (where I go, oddly
enough, to get a good loaf of bread or baguette. Uh, not the Sanrio store -
the bakery across the way from it.)
