USADA (US anti-doping) will convene a tribunal to look at the evidence
against him.

USAC will sanction based on USADA reccomendation.

Landis has the right to appeal any decision.

Expect all of this to drag on into next year....

Has Landis gone in for hip surgery yet?

If so, how did it go?

The next steps a

1. Landis gets/reviews the "Final Analytic Sample Report".

2. Landis files his response to USADA within a week or so of #1.

3. USADA decides if there is a case to pursue, within a week or so of
#2.

4. If there's a case, a hearing is scheduled.

We haven't heard if #1 has happened yet, but it should have either this
week
or next.

He has not had his hip done; rumour is he's put it off in case he needs
to
do some tests he can't perform while rehabbing from surgery.

comment.

I presume this means there are some well healed folks in the area that can
provide Landis with the funding he requires for his case as well as his
surgery.
