Default They deserve it?

These horse riders surely deserve to be bullied by "ignorant" drivers as they have not paid any tax?

There are too many ignorant drivers on our roads.


Everybody is ignorant of most things.

You may well be ignorant of a higher-than-average number of things.

It sounds as you and Simon are, in particular, ignorant of the meaning
of the word "ignorant" and of words derived from it.

Indeed - they believe that because 3/10 new drivers pay a paltry "vehicle excise duty", then those road users that don't have to pay, be they rag and bone men or hikers can be threatened with violence by a 1.5 tonne tin box driven by an impatient idiot.

I blame my boarding school education (Tylney Hall, Hampshire...now a
posh hotel).
