we asked about this without answers
assembling a new XT with a Wheels Mfg solid axle brought the belated insight that a 15mm thin wall (cheap or maybe a 1/4" if findable) socket insides ground out with a tapered carbide drill piece leaves the two flats socket necessary to lever the shimano left side cone |
