Four Cyclists Killed in Wales
"Tom Keats" wrote in message ... In article .com, "Will" writes: Agreed, the driver is not a paragon of good judgement. But the driver is not dead. Four cyclists are. The question for you, and for me, is... At what point do we decide that being right is not the same as being safe? At what point to we abrogate our very right to [use] the road, essentially allowing ourselves to be bullied? The notion of fairness or correctness has no place here. I think it very much does. There is no remedy for being dead. But there is (or should be) a price for killing. All of the above by Tom Keats is spoken like a true dumb Canadian. Listen to him and you will have a short life. But cyclists like him do not have the brains they were born with. Here we have an absolutely horrible story and all he can come up with is that it was the driver's fault and so we should continue on as before. This kind of extreme stupidity overwhelms me. His brains are located in his testicles like the rest of his British Columbia tribe and if and when he is killed on the road I will merely think that there is some justice in the world after all.
