Hit and run pavement cyclist takes out child
Malyka was knocked to the ground by a cyclist using the footpath outside
their home in Great West Road, Heston, earlier this month. The nine-year-old escaped with just a scraped knee but was left badly shaken and her father is furious the culprit, who should not have been on the pavement, failed to stop. http://www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk/w...9642-32339080/ |

They don't appear to be very effective weapons. Try hitting a child with a motor vehicle. |

They don't appear to be very effective weapons. What they lack in effectiveness, they make up for in accuracy and target-flexibility. They can even be - and all too frequently are - used to mow down pedestrians on footways and footpaths (see above) and even in pedestrian-only areas some distance from a road. |
