Install Alpha Q fork
I went over to help a friend build up a bike with an Alpha Q fork. the fork
has the threaded aluminum sleeve installed, but we can't locate the cap and it obviously isn't the standard starnut. Can someone point me to instructions for this install? Where can you get the cap? Thanks, please email. Steve |

Install Alpha Q fork
steve- I went over to help a friend build up a bike with an Alpha Q fork.
the fork has the threaded aluminum sleeve installed, but we can't locate the cap and it obviously isn't the standard starnut. BRBR It is a standard star nut installed into that aluminum, glued in sleeve. At least the dozen or so I have installed had a star nut already installed into the sleeve. Should have a small star nut, use any top cap with a bolt attached going thru it.. Install Alpha Q fork
This IS an older Alpha Q fork, it's a curved fork from ~'95. It has no
installed washer, but only a threaded aluminum insert. Perhaps a washer screwed into it? Thanks, please email. Steve |
